The foundation: all core processes in one system

The CORE module is the basis of smartTOS: transport orders, wagon lists, train dispatch, gate processes and loading-unit management come together in one system — in real time.

Every movement at the terminal is documented: which loading unit was received, transhipped and delivered, and when. Stock levels are accurate — without phone calls and without paper lists.

Gate & self-check-in

Short waiting times at the gate — even without staff

Trucks are identified via reference and licence-plate numbers and processed digitally: ingate, outgate and inspection in clearly guided screens instead of paperwork.

With driver self-check-in, truck drivers process themselves — relieving your gate staff and reducing idle times in front of the terminal.

Train dispatch

Plan, load and dispatch trains — without paper

System-supported train dispatch controls all wagon loading and unloading activities: wagon lists, load planning and status messages flow in real time between dispatch, inspection and crane.

Every loading unit geo-referenced — from arrival to repair

Yard management positions every loading unit with geo-references: flexible storage strategies, capacity management and stock levels that are accurate in real time.

The depot module manages empty containers, the repair module documents damage and repairs — from the finding at the gate to release, fully traceable and billable.

Videogate/OCR & crane interface

Terminal equipment connected instead of retyped

smartTOS integrates your terminal equipment: videogate and OCR systems capture loading units and licence plates automatically at entry and exit.

Via the crane interface, lifting orders arrive directly on the handling equipment and position data flows back into the system — storage locations are assigned automatically.

Billing

Billing straight from operations — not afterwards

smartTOS speaks your partners' language: via EDIGES and other standardised interfaces, pre-notifications, bookings and status messages flow automatically between terminal, operators and shippers.

Architecture & operations

EU cloud or on-premise — operated by Evolit

smartTOS is an offline-capable web application for desktop and mobile devices. It runs either as a scalable SaaS solution in the EU cloud or on-premise in your infrastructure.

Evolit operates the system with active security screening, function monitoring (health checks) and 24/7 support — you run your terminal, not your IT.
