For a long time, the Kapfenberg terminal operated with analogue methods: processes were handled manually, information was recorded by hand, and the overview of inventory levels or vehicle positions was often incomplete. “You naturally lack the overall view of stock levels and the current state of the terminal,” explained Christian Glauninger, Managing Director of the Kapfenberg terminal.
